2001

Parag and Meenal Singhal first started MathWizard, which began with just a math program.

2004

MathWizard introduced an English program.

2006

The first MathWizard enrichment academy opened in Dublin, OH.

2007

The Powell and Polaris academies opened in Ohio.

2009

The Gahanna academy opened.

2010

The MathWizard headquarters moved from the Singhals’ basement to the Powell academy.

2011

MathWizard began partnerships opening four new academies: Aurora, Schaumburg, Parsippany, and Lawrenceville.

2012

The Naperville academy opened.

2013

MathWizard began opening franchises with the first being in New Tampa, FL.

The Louisville and Hoboken academies opened as franchises.

The Mason, OH academy opened as a corporate-owned academy.

2014

Franchises in Avon, Carrollwood, and Portland opened.

MathWizard began offering a science program for 3rd through 5th grades.

2015

MathWizard began rebranding and decided to change the name to A Grade Ahead.

MathWizard began offering grading services to students.

Academies in Lutz, Oldsmar, Rocky Hill, Manchester, Franklin, Smyrna, and Brandon opened.

2016

The English program extended to include High School English.

MathWizard started to offer enrichment camps taught by its teachers.

Academies opened in Edison, Bear, Northborough, Warren, and Grayson.

MathWizard officially changed its name to A Grade Ahead.

A Grade Ahead opened a new academy in Frisco, TX.

2017

Hands-on learning activities were added to the curriculum.

A parent portal was launched for all parents.

A Grade Ahead opened new academies in Hopkinton, MA and Waxhaw, NC.

A Grade Ahead of Mason, OH became a franchise.

2018

A Grade Ahead began offering online testing.

A new website was launched.

2019

Academies opened in Farmington, CT and Little Elm, TX.
